This blackware bowl is signed on the bottom "Lu Ann Tafoya, Santa Clara, N.M.", the daughter of Margaret Tafoya, the master Pueblo potter. It is black with a polished exterior finish and a matte finished interior. There are 8 recessed "L" shapes around the exterior. This bowl has no chips and is in very good condition.
